Valley with Receiver flashings are designed to manage water runoff where two roof slopes meet. They collect and redirect high volumes of water into gutters or internal drainage. Unlike standard valleys, this profile includes an integrated receiver flange. Because of this, it creates a clean, watertight termination point for metal roofing panels.
This built-in receiver plays a crucial role. It allows panels—especially standing seam or snap lock profiles—to lock in securely without relying on excessive sealants. As a result, installation becomes faster, cleaner, and longer lasting.
Moreover, the receiver design improves overall roof performance. It eliminates the need for visible fasteners or exposed joints. In addition, it protects the roof’s most vulnerable intersections from wind-driven rain and ice buildup.
We fabricate all Valley with Receiver flashings from .032, .040, or .050 aluminum, 24ga or 26ga steel, and 16 oz. copper. Furthermore, these flashings are available in Kynar 500® finishes for maximum color retention and corrosion resistance. This means your roof stays protected and visually cohesive year after year.
Each valley is custom-formed to match the roof slope and panel seam height. Because of this, the flashing integrates smoothly and performs with precision.
