Coping Cap provides a durable protective cover for the top edge of parapet walls and roof perimeters. It shields the wall from water infiltration, weather damage, and deterioration, extending the life of the structure. By covering the exposed masonry or concrete, coping caps prevent moisture from seeping into the wall, reducing cracks, spalling, and efflorescence.
This metal cap also offers a clean, finished appearance, enhancing the architectural lines of a building. Its design includes a sloped top that directs water away from the parapet, helping prevent pooling and water damage. Additionally, coping caps often feature drip edges or returns to further control runoff and protect adjacent surfaces.
We fabricate coping caps from .032, .040, or .050 aluminum, 24ga or 26ga steel, and 16 oz. copper. All materials are finished with premium Kynar 500® coatings, providing superior resistance to fading, corrosion, and environmental wear. This ensures the coping cap maintains its color and performance even under harsh weather conditions.
Each coping cap is custom-formed to match parapet dimensions and design specifications. Optional features include hemmed edges, sealants, and crimped joints to enhance waterproofing and ease of installation.
