Fascia Flashing plays a vital role in finishing and protecting the edge of a roofing system. It covers the joint where the roof deck meets the fascia board, creating a barrier that prevents water infiltration. As water flows off the roof, the flashing directs it away from the building’s vertical surfaces. Therefore, it shields the fascia board from rot, warping, and discoloration caused by constant exposure to moisture.
In addition to protecting the structure, fascia flashing enhances the overall appearance of the roofline. Its crisp edge delivers a clean finish that blends with panels, gutters, and trim. Moreover, by enclosing the fascia board, it reduces long-term maintenance and extends the lifespan of the roof edge.
We fabricate fascia flashing from .032, .040, or .050 aluminum, 24ga or 26ga steel, and 16 oz. copper. These materials provide excellent resistance to corrosion, wind, and UV degradation. Furthermore, all versions are available in Kynar 500® finishes, which offer long-term color stability and strong protection against environmental wear. Because of these durable coatings, the flashing will retain its appearance for years while matching nearby trim and roofing materials.
Each piece is custom-formed to fit the roof’s pitch, overhang, and fascia dimensions. Additionally, features such as hemmed edges, notches, or stiffening bends can be included to simplify installation and increase structural integrity.
