End Wall Flashing is designed to seal the vertical intersection where a sloped roof meets a vertical wall. It creates a watertight barrier that directs water away from this vulnerable joint and into the roofing system below. Because this transition point sees concentrated runoff and splashback, proper flashing is essential for preventing leaks, rot, and structural damage.
Installed along the top edge of the roofing panels—just below the wall—End Wall Flashing tucks behind siding or wall cladding. Water running down the wall is then directed out over the panels instead of behind them. As a result, the building remains protected from hidden moisture intrusion.
We fabricate End Wall Flashings from .032, .040, or .050 aluminum, 24ga or 26ga steel, and 16 oz. copper. All material options are available with premium Kynar 500® finishes to ensure long-term color stability and resistance to corrosion. This allows the flashing to blend perfectly with adjacent trim and roofing components.
We also custom-form each piece to suit your specific roof pitch and panel profile. Hemmed edges, notched corners, or reinforced bends can be added for improved fit and performance.
Key Features:
Seals intersections between vertical walls and sloped roofs
Directs water safely out over roofing panels
Prevents leaks and moisture buildup at wall-to-roof transitions
Custom fabricated from aluminum, steel, or copper
Kynar 500® finish available for color-matched durability
Commonly Used With:
Snap Lock and Mechanical Lock Panels – At wall terminations
Underlayment or Ice & Water Shield – For extra waterproofing beneath
Wall Cladding and Siding – To integrate behind and maintain a seamless finish
Chimney or Dormer Walls – At upper roof-to-wall transitions
Altogether, End Wall Flashing plays a critical role in defending your structure from water intrusion while creating a clean, finished look at roof-to-wall transitions.
