Therefore, pitch pockets create a controlled enclosure that allows sealants or pourable compounds to surround the penetration completely.

To support different installation conditions, pitch pockets are available fully closed or with one corner left open. The open-corner option allows installers to slide the unit around existing penetrations without disassembly. Consequently, on-site installation becomes faster and more efficient. Once positioned, installers can easily close and seal the open corner.

Each pitch pocket forms a vertical-walled reservoir designed to hold approved pitch or pourable sealant.
