Masonry End Dams are critical components in through-wall flashing systems, designed to block lateral water migration at the ends of flashing runs within masonry walls. Formed with vertical upturns and sealed edges, they ensure moisture is redirected toward weeps or drainage outlets, protecting wall cavities from hidden water damage. These are typically installed at terminations, corners, or interruptions in masonry flashing systems.
Features:
Seals ends of through-wall flashings to contain and redirect moisture
Prevents water from escaping into adjacent wall cavities
Designed to integrate seamlessly with masonry veneer systems
Joints are iron soldered for waterproofing
Commonly Paired Components:
Through-Wall Flashings – For complete moisture barrier systems
Masonry Reglet and Counter Flashings – For above-grade water protection
