Downspout Elbows play a critical role in directing water flow from gutters to safe drainage areas. Installed at angles, these components guide water around corners, away from walls, and toward splash blocks or underground systems. As a result, they help protect siding, foundations, and landscaping from water damage.
You can use elbows at the top, middle, or bottom of a downspout run. For example, a top elbow connects to the leader head or gutter outlet. A second elbow at the base helps redirect water away from the building. When used together, they ensure precise control over drainage paths.
We fabricate our elbows using .032, .040, or .050 aluminum, 24ga or 26ga steel, and 16 oz. copper, depending on your system. Additionally, all elbows are available in Kynar 500® finishes, which provide long-term protection from UV rays, rust, and fading.
These elbows are formed in standard angles—most commonly 30°, 45°, 60°, and 75°—and are compatible with both round and rectangular downspouts. Whether you’re working with a commercial, residential, or custom architectural drainage system, our elbows fit seamlessly and install easily.
